Suncrisp Radish
Suncrisp Radish
Raphanus sativus
An exceptionally crisp radish and one of the crunchiest varieties we’ve ever grown. Suncrisp produces smooth, light brown roots with bright white flesh and a mild, refreshing flavour. Its firm texture makes it outstanding for fresh eating and especially well-suited for dehydrating into surprisingly crunchy radish chips.
• Type: Specialty radish
• Latin Name: Raphanus sativus
• Days to Maturity: ~50–60 days (adjust if needed)
• Root Size: Medium, round to slightly oval
• Colour: Light brown skin with white interior
• Seeds per pack: ~250
• Growing notes: Direct sow in cool weather. Maintain even moisture for best texture and flavour. Harvest promptly to prevent pithiness and enjoy peak crispness.
