FAQs

Do you ship seeds across Canada?

Yes. We ship to every province and territory using Canada Post. Shipping rates are shown at checkout, and orders typically arrive within 3–7 business days, depending on your location.

Are your seeds certified organic?

Yes. All Sunshine Farm seeds are certified organic by NOOA 04-391. Everything we grow is done without synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or GMOs.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time we only ship within Canada and the United States.

How long will it take to process my order?

Most orders are processed and packed within 2–3 business days. During peak season (January–April), processing may take slightly longer, but we do our best to stay quick.

How do I store seeds to keep them fresh?

Store seeds in a cool, dry, dark place, ideally between 5–10°C. A sealed jar or airtight container works great. Properly stored seeds can remain viable for several years.

What is your return or replacement policy on seeds?

If your seeds arrive damaged or there is an issue with your order, contact us within 14 days and we will replace the affected items. Due to the nature of seeds, we cannot accept returns once packets are opened.

Are your varieties suitable for Canadian climates?

Yes. Many of our varieties are trialed and grown right here in Kelowna, BC, in Zone 5–6 conditions. We select varieties with strong performance in Canadian soils and climates.

Do you offer bulk or wholesale seed orders?

Yes — some varieties are available in larger quantities for farms, schools, and growers. Please contact us directly for pricing and availability.

How do I know how many seeds are in a packet?

Each product listing shows the approximate number of seeds per packet. Counts may vary slightly depending on seed size and variety.

Are your seed varieties open-pollinated or hybrid?

All the varieties offered from Sunshine Farm are open-pollinated. We do not sell any hybrid or genetically modified seed.

Can I save seeds from Sunshine Farm varieties?

Absolutely — We are passionate about seed sovereignty, and many of our varieties are ideal for home seed saving.
